FAQs

No, outdoor traders are required to supply their own stand/stall.

Craft marquee traders will be located inside the marquee and do not need to bring a stall.

Your outdoor stall may be a gazebo, tent, marquee or trailer.

All stands must be fit for purpose and pitched entirely within the plot purchased.

All marked plots allow a small amount of extra space above the purchased size for the installation of guy ropes, these must not extend into walkways or vehicular routes.

Outdoor traders are required to supply their own, or alternatively they may be ordered on the website when
booking a pitch. 

Craft marquee bookings include a 2m table for each 2m booked, chairs may be ordered on the website when booking a pitch.

Please note – craft traders DO NOT need to tick the box for tables – they are supplied automatically.

Yes. The sale of cap guns, BB guns, laser guns, laser pens, spray string and explosive devices is prohibited.

The sale of bladed items will only be allowed with prior permission from the committee. This permission should be obtained prior to attending the show.

For the safety of livestock we ask stall holders not to sell items with small, detachable, plastic
components or materials which may be toxic or otherwise harmful to animals.

In addition to the above, in the interests of animal and public safety, aircraft, drones, kites, balloons etc. are prohibited in the immediate proximity of the show and car parks except where prior permission has been obtained from Caerwys Show committee.

Intoxicating liquor may not be sold without prior permission from the committee. The Trader shall be responsible for obtaining such licence/temporary events notice as required.

Traders’ vehicles may be taken onto the field for loading and unloading before and after the show.

Vehicles should not be driven onto the field without permission from entrance staff.

All vehicles are subject to a 5 mph speed limit.

Vehicles must not be driven on the show field whilst open to the public.

Vehicles should be removed prior to the opening of the show to the public.

Car parking for traders is reserved in the first rows of the car park nearest to the show ring.

Vehicles may only be left on the field with prior permission and must fit wholly within the pitch
ordered.

Each outdoor pitch is 4.5m deep allowing 1.5m of space behind a typical gazebo.

Large/Agri pitches are 15m deep.

Please order a pitch capable of housing your stock and equipment, it must not be placed on the walkways and vehicular routes.

Yes, we operate a one-way system around the main show ring and a 5 m.p.h speed limit.

Traders’ vehicles must not be driven on the show field whilst open to the public without prior permission and guidance from show staff.

Note that traffic leaving the field after the show may be guided on an alternative route to avoid the bar and music areas which
may still be busy.

The field layout is carefully planned for the convenience and safety of both traders and public.

You will be directed to your designated location by staff at the entrance.

You can install your stand either:

  • on Friday before the show between 1 – 8pm
  • on Saturday, the day of the show, between 6 – 9 am

Note- vehicles must be off the show field before public opening.

For the safety of the public, no vehicles are allowed off the field before 5:30pm.
A stand may be dismantled and carried off the field before this time.

In an emergency, contact a member of staff who will arrange to escort you from the field.

Stalls may be removed on Saturday after 5:30pm or left and removed early Sunday am.

Note – there will be field clearing taking place on Sunday, so don’t leave it too late!

Please bring your vehicle pass if you require access to the field along with wristbands for each person entering.

Please don’t forget your wristbands, which will be posted to you. There is no facility to replace these on the day and admission will be by standard price admission at the gate.

Please also bring copies of any insurance, licencing and hygiene documents declared on your application, these may be required for inspection.

Please note, this is different to previous years.

1 free admission for all stands

Your trade stand booking will include one free admission.

If you require additional staff admissions, please purchase these when paying for your trade stand. This option will be included on the payment form. 

Please don’t forget your wristbands, which will be posted to you before the show. There is no facility to replace these on the day and admission will be by standard price admission at the gate.
