The processing of your personal data is carried out by The Show Committee on behalf of the Caerwys Agricultural Show. The Caerwys Agricultural Show is a not-for-profit organisation that organises and stages the annual show.

We respect your privacy and are committed to maintaining the security of your personal data.  This policy outlines how and why we collect and use personal data. We want to ensure you are informed and in control of your data.

You provided it to us when you – joined as a member, became a volunteer, entered a competition (e.g. the Raffle or Ticket Prize Draw), agreed to sponsor the Show, applied for a trade pitch on the Show field, entered an exhibit in one of the Sections, offered to support the Show. 

With whom will we share this data?

We will NOT sell, distribute or lease your personal data to third parties. Committee members such as Section Secretaries and Co-ordinators will use this data to communicate with you about Show matters. Committee members abide by the Caerwys Agricultural Show data protection policies and your data will be treated confidentially.

Your right to withdraw consent

We will only use your personal data with your tacit permission. You may withdraw that consent at any time. If you no longer wish to support the Show please contact our Data Protection Officer by email at:

Sensitive personal data

In exceptional circumstances sensitive personal health data may be collected as part of any accident reporting on the show field. This information may be shared with our insurance company in line with our legal and insurance obligations. If sensitive personal information is collected, we will take extra care to ensure privacy rights are protected.  Such data would only be retained for as long as the law required.

Caerwys Agricultural Show reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. Notice of any change will be posted on this website and will be deemed effective upon publication.
